A seed planted long ago.
My journey in music started when I was six years old and stumbled across the movie "That Thing You Do”. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a movie about a curly haired drummer who is a part of a one hit wonder story. As a kid, I'd grab a pair of chopsticks and turn DVD covers into a makeshift drum set. Years passed by and when I reached the sixth grade, I finally got my hands on actual drumsticks and started my real adventure with drumming and percussion.
However, it was during a transformative experience at youth camp that I felt an undeniable calling to worship ministry. In the midst of worship, I felt a tug from the Holy Spirit to one day lead others into His presence through music and drumming. Ever since then I have been dedicated to serving in worship.
I then embarked on an exciting chapter of my life by enrolling at Southwestern Assemblies of God University to pursue my passion for music and ministry. I was able to cultivate my skills, broaden my knowledge of God, and nurture my calling to serve in the local and global church. Not only did I attend SAGU to study, but I had the wonderful opportunity to be a traveling drummer and music director.
I would be mistaken to keep the experiences I have had and will have to myself. I aim to inspire and equip fellow worshippers and believers, sharing my knowledge, experiences, and insights gained throughout my ministry journey. Together, let’s witness the name of Jesus becoming known and worshipped all throughout the earth.
